The new carriage home is a one-bedroom apartment over a two car garage located on a residential corner lot. The apartment above the garage contains one bedroom, one bath, living area, kitchen, and laundry. Advantages of the corner lot includes a west facing balcony on the second floor to permit views and light to enter deep into the open concept living/kitchen area through full lite sliding doors.

A warm, modern, light filled space is created through simple yet intentional design throughout the Carriage House. Accents of wood are used on both the exterior and interior while a series of punched windows create a horizontal line of views and bursts of light throughout the home. Other exterior features include engineered roof trusses to create the cantilever, poured masonry and cast in place concrete walls, and a pop of color highlighting the street level entry door.
